How many photos can I geotag at once?+
Five at a time on the free tier, and each one counts against the daily allowance. Pro raises it to fifty.
Are my photos uploaded to geotag them in bulk?+
No, not one of them. Each file is tagged and the ZIP is assembled inside your browser. Open DevTools → Network and drop a set in: no request carries your images. Most bulk geotaggers upload the whole shoot to a server to do this.
Can I give each photo a different location?+
Not yet. A batch shares one pin. For individual locations, tag them one at a time.
Which formats work in bulk?+
JPG, PNG, WebP and TIFF. HEIC can be read but not written, because writing it means converting to JPEG and re-encoding your photo.
Does bulk geotagging re-encode my photos?+
No. Only the metadata block is rewritten, so the pixels are untouched and a tagged photo is identical to the original apart from the coordinates.
