Your photos never leave your browser.
This is how the tool is built, not just something we promise. Here's exactly what happens to your data.
Your photos
Reading a photo's metadata, writing GPS coordinates, and preparing the download all happen locally in your browser. The image file is never transmitted to our servers. There is no server-side copy to store, leak, or hand over.
What our servers do see
Only two small, anonymous things: a place-search query when you use the search box (proxied so no API key is exposed), and a per-day usage counter keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address, never the raw IP, and never linked to your photos.
Accounts & payments
The free tier needs no account. Paid plans use a secure payment provider that acts as merchant of record; we never see or store your card details.
Analytics
We do not run ads. Any analytics run behind a consent banner and can never receive your image or its coordinates, because your photo is never transmitted at all. Decline and every tool still works identically.
